Business TV Rates
We try to make this as simple as possible without getting into too much technospeak about disk space and bandwidth – most people, understandably, cannot relate bandwidth to content.

We are also keen to emphasise that we can offer as total solution from inception to production of content. All prices below exclude VAT.

Set Up Cost
We charge a one-off fee of £1250.00 to get your channel set up. This includes building a shell or “skin” for your TV Channel. This assumes that you already have a company logo and colour scheme. Don’t worry if you haven’t – we can do that for you. A typical SME corporate identity – logo, letterhead, business card and basic web site costs around £500.00.

We can also embed a video stream into your existing website. A recent study showed that 86 percent of website visitors stay to listen to and/or watch a streaming media presentation.

We use Flash streaming media, the platform “that just works” reaching over 98% of all connected desktops on the web. Offering rich content and full screen viewing experience! Mac and PC friendly.

Monthly Charge
Once your channel is set up we charge a monthly hosting fee of £300.00 plus £1.50 per minute of content – so if you had 6 x 10 minute presentations on the channel your monthly fee would be £300.00 + (£1.50 x 60) = £390.00. This way you do not have to try to work out disk space and bandwidth costs.

The only limit we put on this is an overall limit of 25GB per month of bandwidth usage after which we charge £2.50 per GB.

What is 25GB in the real world? Well it roughly allows for a total of 100 hours of total viewing per month which should be plenty to get you going.

Encoding and Uploading of Content
You will normally be sending us a DVD, Digital Tape or .AVI/MPEG file. We then convert it into a format that our media streamer will work with and we do this three times to allow for a lower, middle and upper quality level. This means that a customer with a low bandwidth connection will automatically see a video stream suited to the capabilities of their connection without a lot of stuttering. We normally encode at 200, 700, and 1200 kbs (kilobytes per second) or to settings of your choice.

We charge £3.00 per minute of encoded video. Part minutes are charged at the full minute rate so a 9 minute 45 seconds video will be charged at 10 minutes (£30.00).

We then upload the new content, place it in the slot/schedule you want and remove any old content as required.

...but I don’t have any content
No problem. We’ll produce it for you!
